If this is real, then I must say you should not let this go by just like that. Meet the SSP or the chief of the police of your city n tell him everything. Your poor friend suffered for nothing.
In such cases, dont b scared or if you are, dont show so… The person will surely take advantage of your fear for their own good.
Do launch a complaint. N also, if you go to the same police station from where they belong, chances are that no action might b taken against them.So go to the chief rite from the begining. N remember, read before signing nething. Don’t sign a blank paper(Common sentence…”You sign now, we will write wat is to be written later”).
